Wellemeyer to the Mets?

Todd Wellemeyer will likely sign with a team in the next few days, and he told a St. Louis radio station that he's likely signing with the New York Mets, Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants.

Wellemeyer might fill a fifth starter role or a long relief role for any of those teams. In 2008, he started for the Cardinals but he said the Cards haven't come calling so it's unlikely he's going back.
